In my exposure with one such model- Claude Opus 4.5, I have discovered the power of using these models judiciously to improve and speed up my day to day research. This talk is about what I have done in Claude-code and how I have Claude-code setup in a way that it helps me accomplish things faster and allows me to outsource mundane things to the AI model.

Bio: Krishnan Raghavan received the B.E. degree in instrumentation and control engineering from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. He conducted a post-doctoral research at the Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) Division, Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Lemont, IL, USA, from 2019 to 2022. He is currently an Assistant Computational Mathematician at the MCS Department, ANL, and has been primarily focused on machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is also affiliated with the laboratory for applied mathematics and numerical software at MCS Division and is a scientist at large with the University of Chicago.
