Abstract:<\/em><\/strong> Datacenters of 1GW are now routine and all include significant power micro-grids including generation, conversion, and energy storage at multiple levels. This creates exciting new opportunities for new technologies and system innovation. However, the environment is demanding. Technologies must conform to the environment \u2014 heat, size, speed, lifetime \u2014 and fit demanding requirements, including performance, cost, and reliability. These datacenters are built in 12 months from groundbreaking to operation.\u00a0 And this is evolving at a rapid pace, changing with each new generation of AI, and AI hardware.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition<\/u><\/strong>, the next ACCESS webinar will take place on Thursday, Apr. 16 at 11:00 am\u00a0and will feature\u00a0Brandon Wood of Meta<\/strong>\u2019s Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) lab. Details and an abstract for that event are forthcoming.<\/p>\n
