Sorry about that!<br><br>Today the MPICH team released MPICH-4.3.0.  What does this mean for ROMIO users?  Here are some of the new things since the last major release, MPICH-4.2.0 (about a year ago: Feb 9 2024)<br>* software engineering to support MPICH ABI compability<br>* cleanups in ROMIO tests<br>* remove deprecated MPI-1 routines (should make OpenMPI happier)<br>* &#8220;large count&#8221; cleanups (see <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.cels.anl.gov\/romio\/2024\/05\/17\/romio-and-large-counts\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"562\">my more detailed writeup<\/a>)<br>* auto-detect DAOS file systems<br>* now able to handle GPU buffers (by copying into host memory )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I posted a &#8220;what&#8217;s new in ROMIO&#8221; with a corresponding MPICH release.
