A useful resource regarding LSST design, capabilities, and science reach is the <a href=\"http:\/\/xxx.lanl.gov\/abs\/0912.0201\">LSST Science Book 2.0<\/a>. Some parts of this document require updating and revision, but it is still the first place to go to. A while ago, I put together a colloquium-level <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.cels.anl.gov\/salman-habib\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2013\/05\/habib_lsst_scibook_may_2011.pdf\">Guided Tour of the LSST Science Book<\/a>, but it is also of the same vintage as the Science Book, so some caution is advised when looking over it.<br \/>\nA more focused view of LSST in terms of its dark energy investigation capabilities is provided in the <a href=\"http:\/\/lanl.arxiv.org\/abs\/1211.0310\">LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration White Paper<\/a>, which also provides a more recent take on the relevant topics in the Science Book.
